Long Range Pew Pew PEW!

Yep! This is the first class that I’m about to introduce, the Archer Class, also known as the race of the Half-Elves. Why start with this? My personal reason is because I love this class (even though my blog title is about an assassin).

Anyways, let’s get started. First would be the advantage of this class, which is the annoying range. But that advantage can also become the class’ disadvantage, especially if you took the Scout class for your second job. Why? Well it’s because, the scout class has tons of AOE skills, and you need to get to a 20m distance just to use ‘em. So that’ll be fatal for you, because the Knight class and the Assassin class can easily reach you with their skills from their second job (don’t want to be a spoiler so I won’t mention those skills, but I think some of you guys have the idea of what those skills are). This class’ advantageous range can only be used if you’re using the Ranger class, because you’ll use fewer skills and more on normal attacks. Ranger classes have buff skills that improve its ranged attack.

So, this time, let’s segregate those second class’ skills. First would be my all-time favorite, the Scout class. If you’re a long-ranged team player, then this class is for you! It can match a Mage class’ AOE damage, and it can also match an Assassin class’ critical damage. More fun about this is if you used its AOE skill on one opponent, instead of the arrows getting scattered everywhere, the rest of its arrows will follow that opponent. Meaning, the arrows are not wasted, and each arrow has its own damage. So I guess it’s an OUCH for you if you got hit by one or two or… of those. LOL!

Next would be a perfect match for the Assassin class, the Ranger class. Why perfect match? Lookie here, Assassins are good at one on one, ONLY if it’s within their range, so what if it’s not? Then you’ll get pawned by this class. Rangers have scary buff skills that improve their crossbow/bolt damage, and add MORE critical damage. So imagine if you have this annoying range, and powerful buffs, and everything, you think you can get in-range? Dream on! You’re not Ippo Makunochi, so don’t even think about it! Kidding~.

And about the disadvantage of this class, well, sad to say it’s the Assassin class. The Assassin class is like Scorpio of Mortal Combat. It’s because of their skill that pulls an opponent within their range, and rapes ‘em, icky huh? Though Half-Elves have this long range advantage, they lack physical defense. So another weakness would be the Dragon Warrior class. Dragon Warriors are what you call, POWER HOUSE! Yeah, like.. WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION!!! Something like that. Well I wish you got my point, dear readers of my blog.

Welp, that’s about it. If you want to add something about this entry, then feel free to PM me in my YM account or, you may leave a message in my chat box (courtesy of my old living friend, Kix).

Rohan Online? (LOL?)

Well hello pipol of my blog! First, let me explain my recent absence. It’s because something came up, yea, whatever that “SOMETHING” is. Well anyways, let’s get started with this article.

This part of the article is just an introduction to the game, not the main part (la la~). Anyways, what is Rohan Online? Wikipedia says:

Rohan: Blood Feud (an English-speaking version of the recently-released Rohan Online) is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). One week of closed beta testing in America started from March 17, 2008 by publisher YNK Interactive. It ended its one week of closed beta testing. Second round of closed beta testing ran from April 3, 2008 to April 9, 2008, the open beta was launched May 28, 2008. There are other versions of Rohan Online in Korea, Taiwan and Japan as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rohan_Online

There, that’s Rohan Online. But for me, Rohan is like, a different and an annoying MMORPG. Why you might ask? There are reasons. First, leveling your character is like HELL. Quests are good, ONLY before level 30. When you reach level 30, you go through hellish party leveling, and oh by the way, it’s REALLY difficult to find a good and lasting party. Second reason is because of the game’s PK system. At level 30, you are obligated to defend yourself from pipol who loves to PK, and another information about this is, there are no level limits. If your level is 99 and you want to kill someone, then you may PK a level 30, simple as that. Third reason is because of the community itself. Well you know, the Filipino attitude of, “if you kill me, then expect me to bring my whole guild against you!”, something like that. Fourth reason is because of BOT. Yes, the undeniable and unforgiving BOT. Makes the server FULL, and annoys players by taking some leveling spots.

The only good thing about Rohan Online is our guild. That’s right, Exoduz.

Well, that’s all about Rohan in my opinion. The next entries are all about the classes and races of Rohan Online, telling you some secrets that I’ve discovered while investigating/playing the said class.

EXTRA NOTE FROM A GUILDMATE NAMED Frylle:
Upon playing rohan online, we also experience the unavoidable lag. This lag is caused by BOTS. Another is about the server's connection, it's like, if you log-in for a very long time, you have a chance to get disconnected. An additional note from her is the skill bugs. Well, knowing that the game is under it's Open Beta Test, it is expected, though, I wish that the tech team would PERMANENTLY fix it after the Beta Test.

Everything that I've stated in this introduction article are the problems of the game, observed by me and my guildies.

Welp, ja ne~. See you guys on my next article.
